Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Makers of Indian Defence is an exclusive TV series on ET NOW that puts the spotlight on the Defence Manufacturing Industry in India and profiles those orgnizations that are helping to fulfill the Make in India dream in the Defence sector, a reality.
The series will bring to the forefront the work and stories of several leading defence companies as well as their contribution towards making India self-reliant in the Aerospace &Defence sector. It will also showcase to the world in general and our nation in particular, the growing capabilities of India’s defence industrial complex, and what the Indian & foreign-origin companies that operate here have to offer.
Season 1 of the series premiered on December 2020 on CNBC TV18. It featured some of the most respected as well as upcoming names from the defence manufacturing space such as Lockheed Martin, Navantia, Naval Group, MKU Ltd., Walchand Nagar, Titagarh Wagons, SMPP amongst others.
Season 2 of this impactful and insightful TV-Documentary series is all set to be rolled out but this time on a different channel – ET NOW which one of India’s leading English news channels The season would also have KPMG as the exclusive knowledge partner of the series and will be telecast from January 2022, and would up to the massive Defexpo scheduled for March 22nd 2022.
With continued Government focus on the A&D sector, the upcoming season of the series promises to be a success, with several leading Indian manufacturers and international OEMs showing interest in participation. The series will continue to feature organisations who have had a deep impact on India’s self-reliance story, as well as their visionary leaders.
